The Hiring Blueprint™ A program by AMJ Talent Solutions
The Hiring Blueprint™

The plan already exists.
You get a coach to run it with you.

Most students lose a whole semester working out what they're even supposed to be doing — in what order, by when, for their field. The Blueprint hands them a sequence a recruiter already built, and an AI coach that knows their situation and tells them what's next.

Students don't need another checklist. They need a roadmap — and someone to walk it with them.

What you're actually getting

Three things, and the third comes from the first two.

A plan built by a recruiter

Not a plan your student designs. Twenty-five years of hiring experience, turned into a fixed sequence of decisions with dates worked back from the hiring window for their specific field.

A coach that knows them

It remembers their major, their resume, their target companies and what they've already done. It applies the Blueprint's written standard rather than improvising advice, and it says so plainly when it doesn't know something.

Which is why it's faster

Nobody is researching what to do, guessing at the order, or re-explaining their situation from scratch every time. The thinking that usually eats the first semester is already done.

To be clear about what "faster" means. It does not do the work for them. It saves the time students lose to the wrong things in the wrong order — rewriting a resume nobody will read yet, applying to a field whose window closed months earlier, or sitting on a plan they aren't sure about. The applying, the writing and the interviewing are still theirs.

Why the plan is worth having

The dates aren't generic. They're for your field.

Internship hiring doesn't happen once a year. It happens in three waves, and which one you're in depends entirely on the field you're aiming at. A student targeting investment banking and a student targeting a local non-profit are on completely different clocks — and nobody tells either of them which one they're on. This is the single most expensive thing to find out late, and it is the first thing the coach settles.

The three waves, from the Blueprint's own industry guide.

Wave 1 Opens first

Investment banking, finance, big tech, consulting, many engineering firms.

Earliest and most competitive — be ready before it opens.
Wave 2 The longest window

Consumer brands, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, agencies, media, sports.

The biggest wave. Most offers come from here.
Wave 3 Opens last

Small and local business, non-profits, government.

Still wide open and less crowded. Late is not too late.

The Blueprint maps 106 industries onto these three waves, each with its own hiring window. The app looks a student's field up in that guide and dates their plan from it.

How it works

Three phases, in order.

Every part of the search sits in one of three phases, and each phase is built around real decisions a student actually has to make — not information to read once and forget.

1

Plan

Decide where you're aiming and when to move. Your field, your wave, your window, and a target list of companies across three tiers.

2

Prepare

Build the resume, profile, and network to get you there. Bullets that survive an ATS, a LinkedIn profile that isn't just "Student", and one real person at every company on your list.

3

Pursue

Apply, interview, and follow through with intent. Tailor to the posting, work through the question bank, practise out loud, and know what to do after.

Why it's built this way

Same tasks. The difference is knowing what comes first — and why.

A checklist

Everything at once. No order, no context.

The coach

Not a chatbot you have to brief every time.

Ask a general AI when your industry hires and it will tell you something confident and possibly wrong, because it has no way to know. Ask it again tomorrow and it has forgotten who you are. Neither of those is a coach.

It works from her standard, not its own

Hiring timelines come from the Blueprint's 106-industry guide. Resume rules, outreach templates and interview coaching all quote the program's own written standard. When a field isn't in the guide, it says so and helps pick the closest one — it does not invent a timeline.

It remembers, so you stop repeating yourself

Your major, your graduation date, your resume, your target companies, the story you told it three weeks ago in interview practice. A bullet you improve shows up in the outreach message. Nothing is re-explained.

That's the whole difference. It isn't answering questions — it's running a plan with you, and it notices when the plan isn't working and changes it.

A dated plan, not advice

A short conversation, then a plan with real dates on it — worked back from the hiring window for your field, not from a generic calendar.

Your resume, to the standard

Read against the Blueprint's own resume rules, worked through with you bullet by bullet, and handed back as a document you can keep editing.

Your LinkedIn, from your resume

Photo, headline and About, written from what's already on your resume — never from experience you didn't have.

Outreach in her templates

Messages to alumni, professors and people at your target companies, adapted from the Blueprint's own templates rather than written from scratch.

Tailored to the posting

Bring a job posting and see which of its keywords your resume already carries, which your experience supports, and which are honest gaps.

Interviews, out loud

A 35-question bank and a mock interview you can answer by speaking, with a debrief against the Blueprint's standard afterwards.

What it won't do

It won't write experience you don't have, invent a number to make a bullet sound better, or send anything anywhere on your behalf. Every message and every application is yours to review and send yourself. That isn't a limitation — a recruiter can tell the difference, and so can the person reading it.

When the syllabus ends

From kindergarten through senior year, there was always a syllabus — a clear next grade, next class, next requirement. Then graduation gets closer, and the syllabus just ends. Nobody hands you one for the internship search.

"I've spent over 25 years in talent acquisition — leading recruiting teams, hiring at every level, across industries, and sitting on the other side of thousands of interviews. I know exactly what happens behind the scenes in a hiring process most candidates never get to see."

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this just ChatGPT with a nicer wrapper?

No. A general chatbot will confidently invent a hiring timeline for your field, because it has no way to know. The Blueprint's coach quotes a fixed industry guide the founder built, and says plainly when a field isn't in it. It also knows your resume, your target list and what you've already done, so it isn't starting over every time you open it.

Will it write my resume for me?

It will work on your resume with you, against the Blueprint's own standard, and hand it back as a document. It will not add an accomplishment, a number or an employer you didn't tell it about. If a bullet would be stronger with a number and you don't have one, it says so rather than making one up.

I'm already behind. Is it too late?

That depends entirely on the field, which is the point of the wave guide above. Wave 3 comes last and is less crowded than the earlier ones — in the Blueprint's own words, late is not too late. The app will tell you honestly where you stand rather than reassuring you.

How much time does this actually take?

Less than working it out yourself, which is the honest comparison — there's no published number and we're not going to invent one. What it removes is the research and the second-guessing: you're not deciding what to do next, what order things go in, or whether your resume is good enough. You're doing one dated step at a time. The applying, the writing and the interviews still take exactly as long as they take.

What does it cost?

Pricing isn't set yet. This page is here to explain the program while that's being worked out.

Who can see what I put into it?

Your work is yours. A student's resume, stories and plan are visible only to that student's own account. Photos uploaded for a LinkedIn headshot check aren't stored at all — they're looked at and discarded, and only the written notes are kept.
